The Open The Gate African Market looks set to becoming a free bi-monthly event opening their gates at the Rich Mix, London UK on 29th March 2015 to a groups interested in African attire and accessories. There was also free workshops in drumming and if you felt a bit sore after, there was a Massage on hand to take way the soreness. I’m sure they’ll be looking for original vendors with there out of the norm creations and family focused workshops to participate at events.
The Co-Founder of Open The Gate, Sandrine gave us an interview where she explained during an interview in full the concept and philosophy behind The African Market event. She also explained in how the vendors assist the producers to benefit from being part of the market.
Sandrine Herbert Razafinjato also went onto highlight future ventures to take place at Open The Gate and event that are happening at alternative venues.
